Local infusions in Squamish, Whistler and Pemberton!

Our clinic provides internal medicine assessments with expertise in iron deficiency and anemia, with a consultation letter sent following every visit. Most  patients complete their treatment in a single visit, with  infusion times typically ranging from 20–30 minutes depending on the medication. There is no  facility or administration fee for patients with BC MSP  coverage. IV iron may also be covered by extended  health insurance plans or applicable Pharmacare  programs. Our team can help determine coverage and coordinate the necessary arrangements.

There is no specific referral form required — a brief clinical note with a  diagnosis and relevant history is sufficient. Please include recent CBC and ferritin results if available. Following review of the referral, eligible patients are scheduled for an internal medicine assessment. IV iron treatment is provided following assessment when clinically appropriate. There is no minimum ferritin level required for referral. Clinical history, laboratory results and the individual's circumstances are considered when determining eligibility for IV iron.

For Patients:

What to Expect: The Infusion Process

Step 1: Once your referral has been received and reviewed, you will be contacted by email to arrange a phone consultation.

Step 2: You will have a phone consultation with our internal medicine team to review your medical history, bloodwork, and iron needs. If IV iron is appropriate, you will be scheduled for your infusion appointment in Squamish or Whistler, and a prescription will be provided.

Step 3: Collect your prescribed iron medication from your pharmacy and bring it with you to your scheduled infusion appointment.

Step 4: Attend your scheduled appointment at one of our clinic locations in Whistler or Squamish. Most patients complete their infusion in a single visit, with treatment typically taking 20–30 minutes, depending on the medication.
